Summer

Summer

The sunny days of summer bring a heat to the forest clearings that allows the heady scents of woodland flowers to drift through the trees while common lizards bask in the sunshine.

The visiting summer birds have now fledged their young and these scruffy bundles can be seen sitting on branches still taking food from their parents.

Pippistrelle, daubenton's and noctule bats fly on warm evenings searching for food, their sonar 'click' can be heard as they flutter just above you.
