A burst of activity in the forest marks the start of spring. The bright yellow of primroses bring colour to the forest floor and delicate orchids stand to attention as the sun brings warmth to the soil.
The trees are bustling with activity as the new wave of migrant birds arrive from Africa and start to build their nests and find a mate. Chiffchaff, spotted flycatcher, blackcap and swallow all rear their young here and can be seen busily hunting insects for food.
